I was always afraid to see the dentist because of painful experiences I had when I was younger. I recently had no choice because the pain in my teeth and gums was becoming too much. Thankfully my dental insurance had just kicked in. I chose the first dental office based on a multitude of good reviews. We had a consultation and after the X-ray, I was told that I needed a deep cleaning and a tooth extraction. Being a first time patient to this dentist, I had a lot of questions. The dental assistant was much more helpful than the dentist. The dentist was rudely impatient. It felt like he just wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible. I left with a bad impression about dentists once again. My wife told me to ask for a second opinion. I asked around and come across Dr. Alan. When I went to his office with my x-ray, Dr. Alan and May analyzed my case and carefully checked out my teeth and gum condition. They found that I needed 2 teeth extracted immediately because of infection. This dentist has definitely changed my opinion because, wow, that was not painful at all! And they walked me through every step of treatment and what I can do to prevent any future problems. I am happy and grateful that I found Dr. Alan and May! They are the greatest and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is hesitant to see a dentist or really to anyone at all!
